The purpose of WebTicker is to transparently display information such 
as news headlines, sports scores or stock prices in a simple, 
unobtrusive manner, similar to the sports-ticker on CNN Headline News 
and EPSN.  Links to sample files (scores and headlines) are included 
with the program, but the you can override these settings with files 
of your choosing.  WebTicker will then update the files at timed 
ntervals whenever you are logged-on to the Internet.  WebTicker also 
allows you to decide how often the files are updated, and to customize 
the Ticker's scrolling speed, screen location, and text font.

WebTicker is fully functional for 10 days.  After this evaluation 
period, the program's download feature is disabled.  From the 
"Registration" tab on the Program Settings dialog, you can view and 
print the registration form.  Once you enters their registration code, 
the program's downloading feature will be restored.  The registration 
fee is only $10.

WebTicker is a piece of shareware and may be freely distributed in its 
entirety.
